Day 01: Pousada Trijunção welcomes you to the most biodiverse savannah in the world. After settling into one of the Pousada's seven suites, discuss the agenda of experiences for your days with us. Considering the three days of immersion, the first safari begins in the late afternoon, with a guided outing by the Onçafari project team to spot the maned wolf - the symbol animal of the Cerrado.
Day 02: The day begins before sunrise, with a birdwatching activity guided by an ornithologist and a delicious breakfast at Lagoa das Araras. The ride back to the lodge can be done by fat bike along the farm's roads.
At the end of the day, we set off to toast the sunset at Mirante da Trijunção, right on the IBGE landmark that divides the states of Bahia, Goiás and Minas Gerais. This evening, the kitchen is outside, with a ground fire barbecue in the best style of the Brazilian countryside.
Day 03: After a delicious breakfast, we set off to cross the Goiás portion of Trijunção. The Sussuarana Crossing is 4.9km long, at the foot of the red wall, more precisely at the boundary between the Formoso (São Francisco) and Corrente (Amazonas) river basins.
In the afternoon, travelers go on a guided tour of the Conservation Breeding Center (AM Ibama 511082) – which is a conservation project in partnership with the Pousada and has emus, peccaries, deer, tapirs and other wild animals.
In the evening, a new safari takes place with the focus on spotting wild animals this time towards Lagoa das Araras. The sounds of the night and the immensity of the starry sky reflected in the lagoon make the experience of spotting native species even more magical.
Day 04: To round off the experience of immersion in the biome, explore the closed Cerrado areas, fields and footpaths of the Grande Sertão Veredas National Park.
Fazenda Trijunção forms an ecological corridor with the park. If you're lucky, the tour can be a unique opportunity to watch several animal species living in their natural habitat and, with the guidance of our guides, learn a little more about the fauna and flora of the Cerrado.
